The thermostat is basically a temperature switch. When temperature near the sensor reaches 120oC, the current will be cut off automatically, When temperature below the setting, power open again In order to protect battery efficiently, the thermostat must be placed in center of battery pack and close to the surface of battery cell The thermostat shall be welded or soldered between two cells in one battery pack.
